A Very Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie

We have this recipe memorized here and the Delgado household! Everyone should have a go to dessert recipe. Mine is chocolate chip cookies:

Cream together

1/2 c (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened or melted

1 c brown sugar

Mix in

1 egg

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

Then fold in until well combined (no white parts! As my daughter says)

1 c flour of your choice

1 c almond flour, or other flour of choice

(I love a combo of 1 c almond flour, 1/2 c Einkorn, 1 c wheat)

Fold in

1 c chocolate chips

Form into 1 inch balls, can fit 6-8 on a standard 18x13 cookie sheet

Bake at 350 for 12-15 min
